Privacy policy
How this website handles your personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG). The German version (Datenschutz) is the legally binding one.

2. What data I process
- Contact form: your name, email address, optionally company, phone number, date and location of your event, the selected topic and your message. I use this information to answer your enquiry.
- Email contact: if you write to me directly, I process your email address and the content of your message.
- Server log files: when you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of access) to deliver the website securely and reliably.
- Fonts: the website loads fonts (Anton, Inter, EB Garamond) from Google Fonts. Your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process.
3. Purpose and legal basis
I process contact form data and emails to respond to your enquiry and to take steps at your request prior to a possible engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and on the basis of my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files and the loading of fonts are processed on the basis of my legitimate interest in a secure and consistently displayed website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Service providers and data transfers
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). The contact form is processed by the service Web3Forms, which forwards your details to me by email as a processor. Fonts are provided by Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process, on the basis of appropriate safeguards, in particular the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or web analytics. Only technically necessary data required to deliver the website is processed.
6. Storage period
I keep enquiry data only for as long as necessary to handle your request and any resulting correspondence, and delete it afterwards unless legal retention obligations apply.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to eva@evarabeder.com.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority:
